Communicating Difference

I’ve worked at multiple jobs and the significance of diversity has always been clear to me. The workplace consists of employees possessing an array of different cultural backgrounds. Acknowledging and respecting these backgrounds are necessary for communicating differences in the workplace. It will be very beneficial to have a multicultural workforce because it encourages open dialogue. It creates an understanding and collaboration among one another. Most importantly having a multicultural workforce also demonstrates respect, tolerance, and acceptance from a company. This improves company culture and reduces conflict within the workplace. Organizations can create a more welcoming and supportive work environment for everyone.
